You had a trunk show today at my school over at SDSU. This is the first time that i've seen your work..and i absolutely fell in love with it. Today i purchased a reprint of your original work of the Japanese mother and daughter, i forgot to ask you what the kanji stood for. If i had more money i would have bought a lot more of your work. My fiance' and I had the opportunity to discover Gabe's incredible creations at the Adams' Street fair in San Diego this past weekend. We were pulled into his art the second we laid eyes on it. We looked over all the pieces and were captivated by the subtlety of the themes paired with the strength and beauty of the pieces themselves. We agreed on our two favorites..."scream" and "the tree knows". As we are saving for our wedding, we looked at each other with that knowing look that says..."we really shouldn't be spending money on luxuries right now" and proceeded to walk away. We enjoyed the street fair, the music the food etc was great but we couldn't get our minds off of those pieces. Well needless to say we found our way back to Gabe's tent and after meeting Gabe and hearing a little background on both pieces we purchased them both. We couldn't wait to get them home and up on the wall. We hung them that afternoon and have been admiring them ever since. We had no idea we would stumble upon such a wonderful gift as Gabe's artwork on that sunny sunday afternoon but we are thankful. Thanks a million Gabe.

I would really like to attend an art school, but don't have the money for it, it doesn't really matter because in my eyes creativity is far more important than technique.
